Let me tell you, I have a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and an MBA in Entrepreneurship, and I was shocked how different the real world of business was. Most of the real marketing and business concepts I know today I learned after I graduated.

What Makes Me Different From All Other Consultants In The Middle East?
Many of the so-called consultants in the Middle East fall into one or more of the following categories:
1. Not Even a Business Owner! (Never Been There – Never Done That) That’s right – there’s a BUNCH of people trying to sell you advice who never sat where you sit – and dealt with the problems and opportunities that you face everyday. They often are excellent speakers – and persuasive purveyors of their won products, programmes, or subscriptions but they never really did it themselves. Their ideas are unproven. Basically, they have no idea what they are talking about.
How am I different? I own real businesses started from scratch. I’ve been where you’ve been and know what the realities of business are. I’ve had ups and downs and can give you a real-life perspective. I am an entrepreneur and not some sort of pie-in-the-sky visionary with no real life experience and knowledge.
2. Glorified Graphic Designers Please don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against graphic designers and creative people. However, I’ve seen a bit too many graphic designers proclaiming themselves to be marketing and advertising experts. They may be good at design, but when you ask them a bit more detailed questions about marketing you realise they have no idea what they are talking about.
How am I different? I have studied the world’s top marketing experts, past and present, including Dan Kennedy, Jay Abraham, David Ogilvy, Clyde Bedel, Jay Conrad Levinson, Joe Sugarman and others. I have implemented what I have learned and managed to measure the results. Something most graphic designers do not do. My clients learn grass-roots, effective marketing.
3. Only Run A Business In their Memory. Some of those who consult or give expert opinions only run a business in their memory – in some cases distant memory. Some of these recollections seem more like a distant dream (or, in some cases a vivid nightmare!) Many of these people operated in very different circumstances and times.
How am I different? I own and operate businesses today. I implement and practice what I preach and my businesses are growing day by day. I’m not retired or have been fired from any job and was forced to get into consulting. I love being an entrepreneur and I love teaching others how to succeed.
4. Own Subsidised Business. Many people preach about business, marketing and entrepreneurship, yet when you look at their business you notice that they are subsidised. They have a full-time job and run their business on the side as a hobby. The truth is they don’t know how to make the transition from the corporate world into the business world.
How am I different? I don’t work in the corporate world and am not subsidised by anything or anyone else. I make my living (and a very good one) from my businesses. I can teach you how to do that too.
5. Give Advice With Ulterior Motives. Unfortunately many consultants focus on their undisclosed and/or unspoken ulterior motive rather than what’s really best for you.
How am I different? I offer you unedited – non-politically correct – no BS advice based upon things that really work for me. I don’t make commissions on advertising space you buy or make you buy unnecessary advertising space.
6. Have Lost Touch With What Works in The 21st Century. In a variety of ways I continue to explore the ‘leading edge’ of new technologies, selling techniques, marketing strategies, and technological enhancements. I will only share with you ideas and systems that have been proven to work through extensive testing – in the real world of daily business operations.
